Creating an Album

1. Go to your band page
2. Click "Albums" tab
3. Click "Create New Album"
4. Enter album details:
   • Title
   • Description
   • Artwork (upload image)
   • Header Image (optional, for public page)
   • Release Date (can be future-dated)
5. Click "Create Album"

Adding Tracks

Add songs from your band's repertoire:

1. Go to your album's edit page
2. Click "Add Track"
3. Search for songs in your band
4. Select songs to add
5. Reorder tracks by dragging
6. Each song can only be in an album once

Setting Release Dates

You can schedule albums for future release:

• Set a release date in the future
• Album shows as "Coming Soon" until release date
• Countdown timer displays time until release
• On release date, album automatically becomes available

Album Artwork

Add visual elements:

• Album Artwork - Square image (recommended: 1000x1000px)
• Header Image - Wide banner for public page (recommended: 1920x600px)
• Images are automatically optimized

Publishing Albums

Make your album public:

1. Go to album edit page
2. Click "Publish Album"
3. Album gets a unique URL: thebandplan.com/band-slug/album-slug
4. Appears on your public band profile
5. Fans can listen, share, and support your music

Public Album Page

Published albums have a public page featuring:

• Album Artwork - Large display of cover art
• Audio Player - Play through all tracks
• Track List - All songs with play buttons
• Credits - Production and performance credits
• Band Information - Link to band profile
• Payment Widget - Support the album
• Purchase Links - Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, etc.

Suggested Donation

Set a suggested donation amount for your album:

• Add a suggested donation amount when creating/editing album
• Payment widget shows this amount prominently
• Fans can pay the suggested amount or choose custom
• Supports Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle

Adding Recordings to Albums

Include your best recordings:

1. Record songs or promote existing recordings
2. Go to recording detail page
3. Click "Add to Album"
4. Select album or create new one
5. Recording becomes a track on the album

Purchase Links

Link to where fans can buy your music:

• Bandcamp - Direct sales
• Spotify - Streaming
• Apple Music - Streaming
• Other Platforms - Any music platform URL
