Band Songs vs. Global Songs
Understanding the difference:
- Global Songs - Public songs available to all bands
- Band Songs - Songs added to your specific band's repertoire
- Band songs can be private (originals) or public (covers)
- Each band can have different links, gig docs, and recordings for the same song
Preferred Audio Selection
The Setlist Player uses this priority order:
- Your Preference - If you've set a preferred audio source
- Recording Splits - Songs from your setlist recordings
- Song Recordings - Individual song recordings you've made
- Audio Links - External links you've added
Tips for Success
- Add multiple audio links - different versions for different contexts
- Create gig documents for songs you perform regularly
- Record and promote your best performances as reference recordings
- Use splits from set recordings to build your audio library
- Keep gig documents updated as arrangements change
