Jam Notes:

 The jam in in Eb Mixolydian which is the notes of the Ab Major scale, starting on the  Eb. You'll want to emphasize

the chord tones in an Eb chord while soloing... so Eb, G, Bb. Trey also likes to use the  flat 2 (Fb) and sharp 5 (B natural)

to create some nice simple tension. Try to resolve resolve the Fb to the root Eb. And  try to resolve the sharp 5 to the 5th Bb.
